Around the world, social workers are considered as the most efficient and ready to help people. They follow the notion of all lives matter and they reach out to the destitute and people who have physical or mental disabilities. Yet they are the people who are often stressed and burned out. This is because they often witness the situations and the people miseries firsthand, they often are not acknowledged for the work they do yet they continue their work in most occupationally compromised conditions. This is more dangerous in countries where the hostile territories are combined with hostile political and social conditions. Lack of facilities and policies to recognize and regularize the social work and support they need has created anxiety among the people who are working for the betterment of society. An estimated 36% of the social works face burnout and stress related to their profession or the conditions they are exposed to yet they provide their services without compromising on the demands of their job. There is a strong need to acknowledge the underlying problems related to social work the impact of those conditions on their mental and physical wellbeing. Starting with acknowledging their work and contribution (Graves, 2019).
